SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition

SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition is a compilation that includes the SimCity 4 base game and the Rush Hour expansion pack. It was release on September 22, 2003, the same day as the Rush Hour expansion pack. This edition removes the need to purchase and install SimCity 4 and Rush Hour separately, as the installer will automatically install both the base game and it's expansion. SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition is currently the most accessible edition of SimCity 4, as it is the only one available at online retailers, as well as the most commonly resold version.

Other than several minor patches and fixes, the game runs relatively the same, and could have be updated the same way (although Maxis no longer provides support for SimCity 4).

As of 2023, SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition can be purchased through various retailers in-store and online. It is usually priced at $20 and often goes on sale for $5.
