Sandbox mode is a mode that is only available in SimCity (2013). In sandbox mode, the player starts with §1,000,000, cheats are enabled, and all buildings are available (hospitals, schools, etc.) without having to research or unlock it first.

- Regions created in sandbox mode cannot participate in the leaderboard, challenges, or earning achievements.
- You cannot enable/disable sandbox for a region after making it.
