At Level 10 in SimCity BuildIt, two more Specializations are unlocked for the user - Education and Transportation. This is the first time the user will need to use Golden Keys to buy buildings. These are also the first buildings that are not essential so Sims will not abandon their homes if there is no Education or Transportation. They will be happier and the population will boost if they are there.
At Level 15, the Beach is unlocked. Beach specialization buildings act the same as Education and Transportation but they can only be placed on unlocked Beach areas.
At Level 17, the Mayor's Pass is unlocked. Complete tasks in the Contest of Mayors to earn points and get to a higher tier in Mayor's Pass. Unlock themed buildings along the way.
At Level 23, the Mountain is unlocked. Mountain specialization buildings act the same as Education and Transportation but they can only be placed on unlocked Mountain areas.
